Lemon Digestion Tonic




Ingredients

  • 3 organic lemons

  • 1 quart glass jar (946ml)

  • Some filtered water


Directions

  1. Cut up 3 lemons into halves and squeeze the juice of the lemons into the glass jar

  2. Put all the rinds into the same glass jar, fill it up to the top with filtered water and keep in the fridge to make a strong infusion. At a minimum, keep it in the fridge overnight and ideally up to 3 days

  3. Consume 250ml diluted with hot water 250ml every day. Take slow sips as needed to promote good digestion.

  4. Discard any remaining juice after 1 week.


Citrus Peel

  • Citrus Peels contains natural d-limonene. This naturally occurring lemony goodness can help dissolve cholesterol and normalize intestinal peristalsis.

  • Citrus peel can also provide vitamin C and bioflavonoids as a source of antioxidants that may lend support to your overall health.

Citrus Rind

The rind and the pulp of lemon contains pectin. This substance naturally forms a gel like consistency in water providing detoxification benefits. Citrus pectin has also shown beneficial effects in helping prevent cancer metasis. Being a soluble fiber, it also promotes regularity and helps lower cholesterol.


Lemon Juice

Lemon juice promotes natural detoxification and improves alkalinity in the body by encouraging the production of digestive enzymes and the release of bicarbonate from the pancreas and kidneys.
