Ferrero Rocher Black Bean Fiber Cookies: A Sneaky (and Delicious) Way to Boost Digestion!

Writer: Tahlia SageTahlia Sage

Why You Need This Recipe in Your Life

Why do you need to make this recipe, you may ask?

Well, sometimes you just want to grab a cookie (or two) for a quick breakfast.

It’s a sneaky fiber boost—because it contains as much fiber per serving as a fiber supplement. It’ll help make your poop beautifully glide, buttery smooth.

From my experience, getting enough fiber is hard for my clients. Giant plates of salad aren’t the most enjoyable way to hit your fiber goals, especially in the dead of winter. So I love getting creative. Soups, roasted vegetables, sauces—these are some sneaky ways to get your colon what it needs for good poop.

A Sneaky Fiber Boost for Better Digestion

In winter, your digestive tract tends to be more sluggish from reduced activity and richer foods that require more enzymes and time to process. You may notice changes in your bowel movements, especially if your digestion is already on the slower side.

What is good poop, you may ask? Good poop is a cleansing experience—a nice, sausage-like texture that wipes clean on the TP.

Make It Your Own

This recipe is packed with healthy fats, fiber, and so much flavor.

The flavor is hazelnut and chocolate inspired, so I call it Ferrero Rocher Black Bean Dark Chocolate Cookies. But you can totally stick to the dark chocolate base and make it your own. I also tried adding unsweetened shredded coconut for an extra fiber boost. If you want to dive fully into the chocolate flavor, keep it nut-free. But I also think pistachio butter and pistachios would be a fantastic option.

And of course, I want to give credit where credit is due. I didn’t invent this idea of making cookies out of black beans. The Ferrero Rocher twist is my take on recipes from original creators I can find, including Gluten Free on a Shoestring. I also want to thank my talented friend Ashley for sharing this with me—you got me 100% hooked!
